A revolutionary treatment for strokes

Context
FreeOx is a biotech company based in Barcelona developing a groundbreaking drug for the treatment of stroke, the leading cause of acquired disability worldwide. Their challenge: convince investors and partners to join them in the next phase of clinical development.

Our Mission
Prodsquare supported FreeOx in creating an ambitious film, designed as a funding and persuasion tool. The goal: to present the disease, highlight the medical urgency, and showcase the promising clinical results of their drug candidate, while crafting an emotional and accessible narrative.

Our Approach
Working within a tight budget, we devised a hybrid video combining several techniques:

• Qualitative interview with the CEO and Chief Neurologist, to embody the project

• Didactic motion design, to clarify complex medical and statistical data

• 2D medical animation, to clearly visualize the treatment's function at the level of cerebral microvessels.

• Realistic illustrative shots to show the human impact of stroke

Result
A striking, rhythmic, and scientific film, yet accessible to a wide audience.
The story, driven by strong imagery and educational staging, allowed FreeOx to present its project in the best light, maximizing their chances to win over investors.
